Push Pull Screens – Thinking outside the square.

At Lump, we offer an extensive catalogue of screens to choose from. Beyond that, we pride ourselves on thinking outside the square customising and adapting our designs to ensure they are perfectly tailored to each individual project.

This project, for example, features integrated mini louvres 3D elements that open forward-facing to provide practical solar protection. These angled forms shield the building from the harsh northern sun and the intense western afternoon light, delivering both shade and privacy without compromising design integrity.

Due to the unconventional window sizing, every façade panel was individually designed with its own unique pattern and dimensions. This was not a replicated, cookie-cutter solution. Instead, each piece was carefully considered to create a naturally random yet cohesive appearance across the building envelope.

While cladding a façade can deliver strong visual impact, true success lies in performance. The functionality of the screening including solar control, privacy and airflow is what ultimately defines the effectiveness of the design.
