Corten and Stainless Steel Cladding

At Lump we have had a lot of questions recently about our Corten Steel Cladding systems. So I thought we would take a little break from our regular chit chat to share an earlier post about our patented INTERCLAD cladding system.

This new range of Corten Steel Cladding was originally designed by Chris as an alternative to the regular strait up Cladding systems and screens. Aptly named (say in a deep voice, hands on hips and one raised eyebrow) “INTERCLAD” Chris’s patented design is a hero amongst our work.

Corten and Stainless Steel Cladding

It’s simple really, strips of Corten Steel or Stainless Steel are cut to length and folded precisely to form a corrugated pattern. These then interlock with the segments below and above.

The images here show INTERCLAD in Corten Steel with a natural rusted finish. Not only can INTERCLAD be custom sized to suit any sized installation but it can also be curved to create an interesting and sculptural canopy.
