Box Hill Institute Campus Modernisation

The faceted Custodians were designed as part of the Box Hill Institute Campus Modernisation project. Although designed as site specific works, they are derived directly from the Lump Studio collection of Faceted Sculptures. Each Custodian is positioned as if greeting and inviting the visitors into the space of the Box Hill Institute. They are embracing and appear to lean slightly downwards toward the visitor with a display of their shield like faceted sides.  They are the protectors and keepers of the creative hub within the institute. and they are a powerful display of form and structure.
