Chris was awarded a High Commendation for Eggular by renowned sculptor Ernst Fries of the Association of Sculptors of Victoria (ASV) for this piece.

This sculpture was prominently featured in The Financial Review during The Design Made Trade Exhibition in 2008. The Eggular sculpture is available in the following sizes:

Approximate sizes available

H 2400 x W 1300mm

H 1500 x W 900mm

H 950 x W 600mm

Or custom sized to something in between.

The three standard sizes are all pictured below.

Tesselaar Sculpture Prize | 2009

Ernst Fries, judge of the Tesselaar Sculpture Prize said 'these pieces really demonstrate the enthusiastic and creative approach by artists to create for an environmental outdoor setting.  Everyone exhibited must be congratulated on being shown on this occasion. I have chosen two runners-up to the acquisitive award, which are Eggular by Chris Vassallo and Boy with House and Tree by Dean Bowen.' Well done Chris!
