The Pendant

OVERVIEW
The Pendant sculpture can be made from Stainless Steel and Corten Steel.  Corten Steel has  a natural rusted finish and has a recycled timber base.

Tessalaar's Sculpture Among The Tulips Exhibition

The Pendant was also displayed against the magnificent floral backdrop at Tessalaar's Sculpture Among The Tulips Exhibition along side Eggular. Jewell's Pendant is a wonderfully intricate piece crafted from Corten Steel and stands 1.9 metres high on a recycled timber pier.

Although Vassallo and Jewell have combined their creative talents at the helm of Lump Sculpture Studio for many years; the two sculptures displayed in the Tessalaar Exhibition are strikingly different. While both artists work in Corten Steel, their respective training and artistic influences are wildly divergent. It is this difference perhaps that allows Lump Sculpture Studios to create notable and enduring pieces, season after season.

The Pendant. A souvenir from a time and place. A symbol of friendship, loyalty, love and bravery. A gift in kind. A bequest from those that have past.
